This is the GreenWorks 25112 electric lawn mower review. It is corded, with 13 amp of power and a 21” deck, which should give you about 19.5-20 inches of a cut path.  Before we officially begin, you should know that GreenWorks is a well-known brand of mowers.  In the end of this review, we will also include a list of other Green works electric lawn mowers that you may want to check out.

GreenWorks 25112 Corded Lawn Mower PARTS

The handle on this mower is padded for comfort and an easier, better grip. There is a safety bar across the handle you have to hold down to keep the mower running. Assembly for the mower is very easy, requiring no tools, just snapping the handle together.

The blades are made of steel, so they should be strong enough to accidentally hit a rock or run over a branch without any damage.

There are 7 different height adjustments (more than other electric mowers), which range from 1 ¾”-3 3/4”, easily adjusted with a single lever.

The wheels are 10 inches in the rear and 7 inches in the front, and have a grooved design, allowing for a better grip. Some electric mowers have a flat surfaced tire, so this is a better feature to have if you find yourself cutting damp or wet grass.

The GreenWorks 25112 is a 3-in-1 mower, meaning that it mulches, bags, or has a side discharges your grass. Most people love to mulch because it lessens the work you have to do during or after mowing, and it fertilizes your lawn. It also soaks up extra moisture if it rains a lot in your area, and it keeps weeds away. If you have to bag your grass, the grass bag can easily be attached and detached. You can even collect dry leaves, although it won’t be as good as a lawn vac or something similar.

Does the GreenWorks 25112 Electric Mower Contain Enough POWER Oomph?

This is a corded mower with 13 amps of power, which is pretty decent where power is concerned, when compared with other electric mowers. You will need to buy an extension cord if you don’t already have one, and it needs to contain enough power to run the mower. If you are going by ‘gauges’, a 50 foot cord will need to be 16 gauge, a 100 foot cord will need 14, and a 150 foot cord will need 12.

Some people don’t like dealing with a cord, and some don’t like batteries dying on them halfway through mowing their lawn, so it’s all about your preference, of course. Once you develop a pattern while mowing with the cord, it shouldn’t get in the way at all, and you won’t have to deal with that potential problem.

STORAGE

The handle folds down on top of this mower for easy, space saving storage. The mower itself weighs about 53 pounds, so you may or may not need help to carry it into storage. If you need to leave it outside, you should buy a cover for it, since the handle and blade are metal and therefore won’t fare well in bad weather.

GreenWorks 25112 WARRANTY

There is a 4 year warranty for residential use, but not for commercial/professional use.
